Upolstered Davenport Couch from The Victorian Era


Description of Illustration: Text reads, "This combination Roman Divan and Couch is 78 inches long when converted into a couch by lowering  the ends, and 36 inches between the arms when used as a divan. Seat is 27 inches wide. Frame is made of selected quarter sawed oak, handsomely carved back and claw feet. Finished in rich golden color and highly polished. Spring edge seat deeply tufted. Coverings are of the very latest designs. for description of cover see page 437 etc..."
