Where Did This Second Baby Come From?

Above is the original Victorian scrap, fully restored in color, texture and print quality.
Description of Illustration: restored Victorian die cut, baby, blond curls, white lace trim, ribbons, sleepy eyes, rosy lips, white cotton bonnets

Have a question about the illustration? Just type it in the comment box and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. I only publish content that is closely related to the subject folks.
Above is my altered, painted version of the same image. What? somebody stole the baby! No. it's the same baby but she is from a different ethnicity and just as cute I might add!
Are you seeing double? Not exactly and that is the point. Not all technical training in Photoshop covers every challenge. As you may observe, I have painted a black version of the baby that was originally white. But the features are unique to this baby's ancestry. Merely tinting flesh tones is not enough to reproduce images that look as though they were painted during the same time period. That is why academic training in a wide variety of artistic pursuits can make a big difference in fine preservation, studio work and graphic illustration.
